Transformation

Last week was a doozy for me. It was a week of realization, self-reflection, and the start of taking significant action steps towards my transformation.

I love when all of the synchronicities happen and I cannot ignore what the Universe is saying to me.

Last Sunday was the opening of the Lion's Gate Portal. Every year around 8/8 or the 8th of August (the 8th month of the year) there is a cosmic alignment called the Lion's Gate Portal. The number 8 is also an infinity sign turned upright representing balance and peace. 8 is infinite as its shape moves in and out and represents our DNA in form. It has links to Sirius (the star that shines down on our soul energy), Ancient Egypt and thousands of years of observed ascension, energetic influx, and activation by the Mayans. I have some of the most powerful meditation experiences during this time. This particular time period is known to heighten our awareness, raise our vibration, and activate our DNA. To foster activation it is important to come from a place of LOVE and to release fear, feelings of uncertainty, and to remain focused on what we WANT.

Currently, we are in the second year of a three year process of great TRANSFORMATION and this is a time of great power to bring abundance, creativity, self-confidence, and freedom. It focuses on the Solar Plexus, the seat of our personal power.

First thing Monday morning, I had a blue monarch butterfly in my driveway. It sat on my driveway for almost a minute as I stood over it. I took it as sign, like I do most things that occur in nature.

Blue Monarch: Metamorphosis has begun! This symbol is for those who are in tune with the ancient wisdom of their ancestors (this is a theme that has been coming up for me). Call in this butterfly when you need help gracefully navigating a major transition.

That evening I sat in Circle with my Vibe Tribe (if you don’t have one, you need one, and we plan on creating one here). I wasn’t going to go, but my husband suggested that I stick to my plan, because I am always so grateful afterwards, and of course he was right.

We were introduced to the 7 Rays of God (definitely for another post), and my number was 3: The Heart Chakra

Virtue: Chastity (wtf does that even mean, right?)

I was advised to heal my internal pain and detach from a behavior that was not serving me so that I could "Illuminate every cell in my body." Once I could detach from this behavior and show restraint, simplicity would prevail and I would be able to shine in my authentic empowerment. To do this I must do inner child work around behaviors that do not serve me and improve my Love of Self. These behaviors are also part of my lineage and I need to do ancestral work to correct this (HELLO Blue Monarch meaning).

"Illuminate every cell in your body."

Wednesday morning I pulled my daily card and it was the VIII of Swords. The picture in my deck is a butterfly before it spreads its wings. It is tightly bound together and represents limiting beliefs; being stuck in a negative pattern or mental state; all I need to do is spread my wings and fly. Pretty powerful message, because I am holding myself back.

I must ignite transformation, and I need a plan. I currently belong to two women’s groups that help me do the inner work to be my best self, one is focused on leadership and the other is a deep dive into monthly lessons and is supportive of my beliefs and values. During one of our calls I mentioned being scared of dreaming big and it coming to fruition. The feedback was to be ME, simply one ME, not me at work, me at home, me in a social setting, me as mommy, but ME all the damn time, just as I am. Don’t shrink for anyone and don't change who you are in a given environment or situation. Be UNAPOLOGETICALLY ME.

I took all of these situations and I sat with them to determine what actionable steps I will take. I have identified behaviors that are not serving me and I have chosen to commit to myself for the next 100 days to see the impact it may have on my self-love. I will put ME first and I will be honest with what is best for me every single day.

Along with all these synchronicities comes today's Full Moon in Aquarius (check out our Full Moon Ritual blog). It is the Sturgeon Moon. This moon is about seeking social change and justice. According to Refinery 29, “This means it will be important to take action around transforming our views and scope of information. Open yourself to learning new things and new causes to believe in — now.”

Here are some action steps you can take:

• Remain calm

• Keep your cool when dealing with others

• Step away from technology

• Sit in silence and calm your mind

• Breathe deeply

• Journal, record your big dreams and action steps to achieve those dream

• Make time and space for you
